Q: When is the Motoring Literary & Art Festival?A: The show runs for two days, Saturday and Sunday, 2-3 December 2023.

Q: Where is the event being held?A: The event will be in The Wing building at Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN. Exhibitors will be in Hall 3 (main hall and mezzanine). Speakers and discussion panels will be in three ‘theatres’ in the Media Centre in The Wing building. All will be clearly signed.

Q: What are the event opening times?A: Saturday 10am – 5pm and Sunday 10am – 5pm

Q: Can children come to the show?A: Yes, however the content of the event is geared towards adults and there will not be anything in place to specifically entertain children. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. There are no concession prices for children.

Q: Are dogs allowed at the show?A: Dogs are not permitted. Assistance dogs are permitted but only with prior permission. Please email louise@porterpress.co.uk for information.

Q: When will tickets be on sale?A: Tickets are available, please click here to purchase.

Q: How much are tickets?A: A range of ticket options are available. Full details can be found on the Ticket Information page. Tickets will not be available on the door and must be purchased in advance.

Q: Can I buy tickets over the phone?A: Tickets can be bought online or over the phone. Telephone +44 (0) 1584 781588 between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Q: I have bought an E-ticket, can I just show my ticket on my phone?A: We would prefer you to print your ticket before you arrive. However, if you don't have the facility available to you to do this, we can scan your ticket directly from your phone.

Q: Can I book a ticket for my carer?A: Yes, if you have a disability that restricts your ability to attend the event on your own, to the extent where a helper is needed, then a carer is admitted free of charge. Please contact office@porterpress.co.uk or call +44 (0)1584 781588.

Q: I am no longer able to attend the event. Can I get a refund?Unfortunately, we are unable to refund tickets if you're unable to attend. Please see the terms and conditions.

Q: Is there a separate entrance for disabled visitors?A: If arriving by car, please enter via the South entrance and have your Blue Badge on display in order to gain access to designated disabled parking area (subject to availability).

Q: Will there be interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing?A: Unfortunately we are unable to provide interpreter services.

Q: Are all areas of the event accessible?A: Yes, there are lifts between each of the levels.

Q: What parking is available on site?A: Plenty of free parking spaces are available near the South entrance to the Silverstone site. It is then a short walk into the Hilton Hotel, up to the first floor and over the bridge which crosses the race circuit into the venue where your tickets will be checked.

Q: Where can I eat?A: There will be a catering outlet on the mezzanine of Hall 3.

Q: Can I bring my own lunch?A: Yes, there are seating areas on the mezzanine to Hall 3.

Q: Is there accommodation near to the venue?A: For help in finding accommodation in the area, please see the accommodation list below.

Q: Are there cash machines on site?A: There are no cash machines on-site. Some exhibitors will take card payments, but it is advisable to come with some cash.

Q: Where is the nearest train station?A: The closest station is Wolverston, about 10 miles (16km) from the circuit. This station has direct services to and from London. Also in the area are Banbury, Milton Keynes and Northampton which have services from Euston, London and Birmingham New Street.

How do I get to the Festival?To visit the Motoring Literary & Art Festival, follow signs to the Silverstone South Entrance, and the Hilton Hotel. Parking for the event is to the left of the hotel car park, and access is via the bridge on floor 4 of the Hilton Hotel, into The Wing building.

Q: What facilities will be on site?A: You will find toilets in convenient locations around the building which will be signposted. Exhibitors will be based in Hall 3 and on the mezzanine to Hall 3. There will be three ‘theatres’ each with a full programme of speakers. For details, please visit the event website.

Q: Will there be First Aid provision?A: Yes, there will be First Aiders on site at all times over the weekend. The event organisers are Porter Press International and have a stand in Hall 3.

Q: Are activities on both days the same?A: Exhibitors will be the same on both days but the theatre programmes will be different. Please see the programme page on the website for information on speakers and other weekend activities.
